USDC Comes to Vultisig

USDC Comes to Vultisig

Vultisig is integrating Circle's Smart Contract Accounts (SCA) and native USDC tooling directly into the Vultisig self-custody wallet ecosystem. This brings institutional-grade digital dollar infrastructure into a seedless, user-controlled environment — without sacrificing security or ownership.

Through this integration, Vultisig users will be able to gain access to Circle's Smart Contract Accounts, enabling the seamless use of USDC and advanced financial primitives across multiple blockchains. Users can now hold, transfer, and deploy USDC in on-chain applications while maintaining full self-custody through Vultisig's MPC/TSS architecture.

The result is a combination of Circle's payments and stablecoin infrastructure with Vultisig's modern, multi-factor, seedless vault design — delivering both resilience and usability at scale.

A Stronger Foundation for Programmable Finance

Integrating Smart Contract Accounts inside Vultisig strengthens the foundation for secure, user-controlled financial applications. This includes support for programmable paymasters, improved on-chain transfers, and more streamlined treasury workflows.

Rather than relying on custodial intermediaries, users can interact with programmable financial tools directly from their vaults — preserving sovereignty while unlocking automation and composability.

To support long-term adoption, Vultisig is also designing mechanisms that connect USDC usage with participation in the broader Vultisig ecosystem. This framework will be further enhanced through future compatibility with Arc, Circle's Layer-1 blockchain currently in public testnet.

USDC in a Safer Self-Custody Wallet

USDC is a stablecoin redeemable 1:1 for U.S. dollars and fully backed by highly liquid cash and cash-equivalent assets. By enabling USDC within Vultisig vaults, users gain access to a dollar-pegged asset while keeping custody inside a seedless MPC/TSS vault — rather than an exchange or custodial service.

This reduces potential single points of failure and improves operational control for both individuals and organizations. Users will be able to deposit USDC into Circle Smart Contract Accounts while maintaining full ownership within Vultisig's secure environment.

Better Treasury and DeFi Workflows

For teams, DAOs, and funds that rely on transparent on-chain dollars, the integration is designed to significantly reduce friction between treasury management and DeFi participation.

USDC held in Vultisig vaults can be routed directly into DeFi protocols, payment rails, or cross-chain liquidity — without leaving the multisig or MPC security model. This improves capital efficiency without compromising governance or security.

Cross-Chain USDC, Without Leaving the Vault

USDC exists across many blockchains. Vultisig vaults allow users to hold and move USDC seamlessly across supported chains using Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), paired with Vultisig's support for over 30 networks.

Transfers will occur within the secure MPC environment, reducing reliance on external bridges or custodial solutions.

  • Individual users can hold USDC in a secure, seedless vault instead of on an exchange, and deploy it directly into on-chain services such as DEXs while retaining full control of their assets.
  • Teams, DAOs, and treasuries can centralize stablecoin reserves and leverage programmable Smart Contract Accounts to support payments, treasury operations, and payroll — all while maintaining governance and custody.

A Unified USDC Experience

This integration brings together two complementary strengths: Circle's widely adopted stablecoin infrastructure and Vultisig's modern, seedless MPC/TSS multi-chain vaults.

The result is a safer and more flexible way to hold and use USDC — whether you are managing personal funds, operating a DAO treasury, or building the next generation of programmable financial applications.
